Cottages

The 24 terraced cottages built in 1860 at Nant Gwrtheyrn have been transformed into modern 4* accommodation accredited by Visit Wales.



Seven of the original cottages now offer four self catered cottages sleeping from 2 to 6 adults with some en-suite and some shared bathrooms.

The other houses offer 30 en-suite bedrooms, mainly twins and doubles with two singles. Most bedrooms have en- suite bathrooms with showers other than two which have baths with over bath showers. Each room has an internet connection but there are no televisions or radios in Nant Gwrtheyrn. There is no signal and we believe that the tranquillity of the site is enhanced by the absence of tv’s and radios. DVDs and projection facilities are available in the Plas, Chapel or Caffi Meinir.

Three lounges are provided suitable for small groups who are staying in the en suite bedrooms. Other communal spaces for groups are available in the Plas or in Caffi Meinir.

The accommodation has underfloor heating powered by air source heat pumps with solid oak floors and furniture, leather sofas and easy chairs and very comfortable beds made by the Welsh Bed Company who supply 5* hotels across Europe.
