Accommodation

Residential students stay in the traditional miners’ cottages, which have been done up to 4* standard. We have rooms which can accommodate wheelchairs.

Catering

Meals and drinks are generally provided in Neuadd y Nant. The friendly staff are more than happy to accommodate any dietary needs.

Lessons

Lessons are generally taught in the Plas, which was originally the quarry manager’s house. The rooms are furnished with state of the art equipment to enable us to provide a variety of teaching methods, not excluding traditional methods of teaching.

Leisure

The lounge downstairs is at the students’ disposal during their stay in order for them to relax in the evenings and have a convenient centre for study and leisure.

Also available for the students are all the historical aspects of the Nant to visit, such as our heritage exhibition and period house.
