How To Book
The Booking Process:
You can book online by clicking on
Book Now opposite the course you wish to attend on each individual course page, by downloading and printing our booking form and sending it to Nant Gwrtheyrn along with your payment or by
contacting the Office at Nant Gwrtheyrn.

Courses should be booked at least 3 weeks in advance of the course start date.
Make sure of your level before booking
If booking on-line the full course cost will be deducted from your credit/debit card immediately. An automatic email will be sent to you confirming the transaction and your booking confirmation will be sent through the post within 7 working days.
If booking by post a deposit of 25% of the full course cost should be sent along with your booking form . We cannot process your booking without a deposit. The deposit is non-refundable.
The remaining 75% is due two weeks before the course start date.
If your employer is paying for the course Nant Gwrtheyrn will send your employer an invoice for the full cost.
The balance is payable on the date stated on your invoice.
Canceling a Course
A minimum number of 6 people is required to run a Welsh for Adults Course.
If Nant Gwrtheyrn has to cancel a course you will be given 2 weeks’ notice prior to the course start date. In these circumstances your deposit will be refunded OR you can transfer your booking to another similar course within 12 months.
If you decide to cancel a course you can transfer your booking to another similar course within 6 months OR your deposit will not be refunded and Nant Gwrtheyrn will have to charge the following fees:
canceling 8 weeks prior to start date: 50% of full cost
canceling 4 weeks prior to start date: 75% of full cost
non-arrival, curtailment: 100% of full cost.
After booking a course on-line or by post, you must wait to receive written confirmation that you have been accepted and that your payment has been processed. Concessions
- A 5% discount is offered on all language courses to members of Friends of the Nant
- A 10% discount is offered on all language courses to anyone not in fulltime employment please send a copy of valid proof, e.g. student card, bus/train pass, with your booking form . Please contact us to say you are applying for the discount.
- A special reduction of £80 off any 5 day course or £50 off any 3 day course for people returning to the Nant having attended a course in the previous teaching year August 2011 - July 2012 or attending a second course during the same teaching year. Both discounts cannot be claimed in conjunction.
Funds are sometimes available to help people suffering financial hardship to attend courses at Nant Gwrtheyrn details available by contacting the Office or your local Welsh for Adults Center. Course Arrangements
Apart from Pre-entry, Hyfedredd and Supplementary Courses, all our courses begin on a Monday morning and end on a Friday afternoon.
Pre-entry Courses begin either on a Friday evening and end on a Sunday afternoon, or begin on a Wednesday morning and end on a Friday afternoon.
Hyfedredd Courses begin either on a Monday morning and end on a Wednesday afternoon, or begin on a Wednesday morning and end on a Friday afternoon.
