Which Welsh Course?
FINDING YOUR LEVEL
We encourage enquiries from students to discuss their needs with a tutor.
In order to ensure that you enrol for the most appropriate course we would suggest the following:
- Please refer to the guidelines introducing each level, e.g.
“Suitable for those with no knowledge of Welsh at all. Ideal preparation for those who wish to proceed to ENTRY Part 1.”
- If you have already been following a course.
Wlpan, Pellach, Uwch or Meistroli course levels correspond to the Nant’s, which will help you choose the most suitable course. Please contact us directly on 01758 750 334 if you have any uncertainties about the level.
- If you are studying Welsh in another way
such as self-study, on line courses etc., it is very important that you contact one of our tutors on 01758 750334 for advice when deciding which course is suitable for you.
- If you are unsure of your level, we recommend that you contact a tutor at Nant Gwrtheyrn to discuss your level and needs by phoning 01758 750334. The tutor will not always be available owing to teaching commitments, but a member of the Office staff will take your details and arrange for the tutor to contact you as soon as possible.
- Self-testing.
For a rough idea of your level you can test yourself in the “back room” of the S4Cymraeg website, however we recommend that you contact one of our tutors afterwards to ensure that you choose the ideal course for yourself.
